"Well I am up to day 43....and still hanging in there. It is/has been a really great experience. It is such a pleasant place to go to - in every sense.

Last night there was a woman (a 1st timer) I overheard speaking to Wayne mentioning she doesnt think she would ever be able to achieve any 'flexibility'....I was in a hurry to leave so didn't have time to but if able would have said you WILL!!!

I too thought that, and it has not only given me much more flexibility in my body, but has done wonders for the mind as well. If there is such a thing as mental flexibility I am on my way to achieving some new depths in that dept. too.

Having experienced some challenging issues in my life outside in the last year, Hot Yoga has helped me to feel so much better (put very simply:)

Lisa was such a fantastic person to have as my introductory teacher....just seeing her so often in those first few weeks was a gift in itself. I mentioned to her last week before her departure that if not for her I don't know if I would have kept on keeping on.It was never a chore.

Likewise, Katrina and Wayne are so very supportive too. Just this morning I was telling some (more!) people about it, and said it really is like having personal trainers over your shoulder for 90 minutes.

I never feel lost in that room, as I have felt on occasion in previous classes in years gone by (hence, I didn't feel confident and so found it easy not to return).

So, thankyou, from the tips of my toes to the clouds of my head...rapidly turning to clearer skies...for creating such a lovely environment at Quickfityoga,

"Most people have an opinion about practising in the hot room. I have only experienced lasting benefits that is for sure, I feel like I am 'youthing' instead of ageing. I am not the only one who thinks I look younger and healthier. My skin has lost its greyness and is a lot cleaner, clearer and healthier. My posture is firmer, I have lost my flab and my spine is more flexible. I feel like I have a new lease on life.

Miraculously now, my body seems to be telling me what to eat - with, of course the odd lapse! I drink more water. I certainly have more interest in life and my memory is better. I no longer think that I could be a candidate for a old people's home. My mind is clear, alert and active. I love it.

One of my legs is 3 cm shorter and this has over the years caused some tightening that I have particularly felt in the hips. The heat seems to melt away years of tightness and makes me feel more supple.

I have had a cholesterol problem in the past. This method appears to chomp through any build up. My hypertension tended to give me recurring nose bleeds. I have not had this problem since I started.

As for my wife Anna, she says that are lots of benefits that she has noticed. For one she says I am not as grumpy as I used to be and well... let's just say I don't need Viagra anymore.

So if you asked me if you should try it I would say, yes, without a doubt. But don't just go to one class. Take it from me. It needs your commitment. Don't make up your mind til you've been a half dozen times."

I feel a lot clearer, more focused. My emotions feel more like they should - 'energy-in-motion'.

To me, each session of Hot Yoga is a moving meditation, the mind-body connection and focus on breathwork has definitely given me more emotional stability in everyday life ...I feel more patient and calmer.

Because every part of the body receives a workout, I'm able to detect my weaknesses and strengths and to see my strength and flexibility improve.

I enjoy the heat because it enables the muscles to move more freely and the sweating assures me my body is detoxing.

Of all the many different forms of exercise I have done throughout my life, quickfityoga has been the most beneficial and certainly the most enjoyable.

Since starting yoga over 1 year ago the changes in my life have been phenomenal.

I only moved to Noosa recently (semi-retired), and I intended to test/trial all yoga schools in the area. I started the trial with Hot Yoga at quickfityoga - my wife and I liked it so much we have been attending the classes ever since, sometimes up to 6 times a week.

The pain in my hip joints is completely gone, pain in the toe joints is 90% gone, tendonitus in the forearm is almost gone.

My accountant just told me that his wife recently had both knees replaced. I would rather invest my time in Hot Yoga classes knowing that it will prevent such degenerating disease ... and have fun too!

Our well-being, both mentally and physically, has greatly improved. And all that after only 2½ months of Hot Yoga classes and some lifestyle changes.

Gradually my body turns to its natural shape, melting the stomach, wiping out years of neglect and years of bad posture from sitting in an office chair all day.

My wife and I want to keep our bodies young, flexible, fit and healthy and that’s why we intend to go to yoga classes for the rest of our life!

Since I began my quickfityoga practice 3½ months ago I have experienced many benefits. Within the first two months my weight reduced by 8 kg and my muscles toned up, especially noticeable were my arms, neck and torso. I am sleeping more soundly and longer than I have in years and I approach even the most stressful situations with a greater sense of calm.

I am noticing improvements in my hip joint flexibility and the pain in my lower back is decreasing. I had been tempted to think “I wish that I had started this years ago” but this is definitely a case of “it is never too late to start and certainly better now than never”.

I live hundreds of kilometres away from the studio and while I love to attend classes whenever I can, I really appreciate being able to follow my own practice, and to have Bikram’s Beginning Yoga book for reference. I have set up a special space at home and practice my yoga 4-6 times per week. Wherever possible I adapt my other commitments to fit in my practice and when I am not able to do this I notice that I really miss my yoga.

Before I started my regular yoga practice my body had started to show signs of arthritis and significant decrease in flexibility, and I felt like I really was middle-aged. Now with quickfityoga I am confident that turning 50 in a couple of year’s time will mark a whole new active and highly rewarding phase of my life.

My breathing, sleeping and body shape have improved (Wow! I've got curves!). The first month seemed to work through old injuries, pains, then calmed so I dropped back to twice a week and it became more difficult!

Last month has brought up shoulder, neck, lower back and knee stiffness, so I am persevering and dealing with the metaphysical cause. I am still enjoying the challenge it offers and working on continued weight loss.

I have no doubt the yoga has brought about benefits through bringing my mind into my body. It has brought about tremendous emotional release and assisted in opening up the heart.

I had a pronounced scoliosis which I had been aware of since I was about 9 years old. The doctors said that there was nothing I could do about it. I thought uneven leg lengths may also have contributed to the severity. Physios, chiropractors and doctors all said there was nothing I could do.

I started Bikram Yoga in Sydney in January 2000 and by May 2000 my scoliosis had all but disappeared. There is a very slight twist that only the extremely observant can pick up otherwise everyone is of the impression that I have a beautifully straight spine.
